IG Announces Five days of prayer and fasting LOCKDOWN

Laser-focused Secretary of State for Defence, Rev. C. Asong, has outlined a five-day schedule of prayer and fasting in the run up to LRC’s traditional 20th May celebration in Ambazonia.

That date marks the end of the Federation of West Cameroon and French Cameroon in a referendum which the terms of the federation strictly forbade. The illegal referendum took place in 1972 when the Federal Republic of Cameroon became the United Republic.  As if that was not enough LRC’s president in 1982 then renamed the United Republic to the pre-federation name of French Cameroon – La Republique du Cameroon, down away with any reference to the Southern Cameroons state which had become West Cameroon in the federation.

Apart from the name change LRC’s government headed today by the same individual who changed the name, then embarked on routine ritual humiliation to nudge the people of Southern Cameroons to francophonize.

All in all, 20th May is not a day to celebrate in Southern Cameroons and the IG, the Interim Government of Ambazonia, has resolved to stop La Republique du Cameroon from busing in rent-a-crowds from French Cameroon to make believe that  Ambazonians march in celebration.

From 16th May 2022 to 20th May 2022 Ambazonians will abstain from the build up and instead pray and fast in contemplation and to consolidate their dignity and restored state.

The vast majority of Ambazonians already shun these annual charades but LRC is had at work trying to tempt vulnerable people to supplement the rent-a-crowds of French Camerounians. The IG is warning all Ambazonians that our self-defence forces will be disuading those LRC efforts  during the five days outlined.

Ambazonia’s prayer and fasting will also ensure that we are unmoved by the reported activities of LRC’s hired charlatans who have been making incantations on our land in a vain attempt to turn the tide of their genocidal war on Ambazonia.

The most high God is the Watchman of Ambazonia.

Who is an enabler?

With the contrasting comments on the ADF’s arrest of Sen. Mundi it is perhaps high time it was clear who is an enabler.

If we assume that anyone in that category needs to be Ambazonian by birth, then we can take it for granted that other LRC officials such as governors and other so-called “chefs de terre” do not need to be included as they are already opponents by virtue of their “jobs” of enforcement of LRC’s control.

All who have joined LRC’s parliament or government who regularly describe our struggle as terrorism or misguided small groups are easy to distinguish. They would include the likes of Fru Ndi who recently proposed that LRC’s parliament should pass laws to deport diaspora leaders of the struggle. He has enjoyed a dubious protection and quasi immunity which sits at odds with “his party’s” continued complicity in validating LRC’s hegemony over Ambazonia. Sitting on the fence is not good enough especially when he occasionally jumps down on the other side as he did in his aforementioned brainstorm on deportations.

The mayors or councillors and any others who wear LRC’s flag sashes are also enabling LRC’s hegemony no matter whether they are our school mates. The struggle will only drag on and is, in fact, dragging on because of our failure to accept the enablers as losses. Such people need to choose and they cannot choose to “wait and see” while posing in LRC’s flag.

We also need to face reality at some point and insist that traditional authorities who allow themselves to be paraded by LRC’s propaganda machines or exceed their authority by claiming to represent their subjects while safely stowed in LRC’s as their villages are burnt by LRC’s militias cannot be given the benefit of the doubt.

Those who are not…

Since the consensus that education was essential and could not be actively inhibited, it would be worth making it clear that lay teachers who do not fall under other categories of enablers should be protected until we are in a position to run our education system.

Mundi arrest highlights Ambazonia’s room for growth

When AgovC announced that its armed wing had “Senator” Mundi in custody there were mixed reactions.

On the one hand many celebrated the ADF for initiating the much-talked-about crack down on “enablers”. An appointed Senator is the very definition of an enabler, having the sole role of making-believe that LRC is in charge in Ambazonia.  Having not been “voted” in in banned and boycotted “elections” such enablers could not say they’re shocked if they are arrested by the restoration forces.

On the other hand, there was also a sizable minority calling for the release of “ours” and the arrest, instead, of “real LRC” agents such as governors and other officials. These officials certainly do present higher tariff targets, no denying. But the argument that appointed senators and other, let’s face it, collaborators are “ours” you must be spared is a whole level below naivety.

Apart from the difficulty in justifying the tag of ours for Sen. Mundi while having to put up with militias firing live rounds into school traffic in Ambazonia we have to look for their achievements in “representing” “us” in LRC’s parliament. And there are non. All they do is get themselves 4×4 with drivers to help them dodge pot holes better than their long suffering “constituents”. There is no way they are ours.

Our history starts with our elected representatives withdrawing from the assembly in Eastern Nigeria when they could not accept the status. That was how our democracy started. Note that it lasted a relatively short time but had more transparently elected governments than LRC has had in six decades.

If we stand for our independence there is no way we could be tolerating anyone who takes part and enables LRC occupation activities. Nobody who dons LRC’s flag sashes and prances provocatively around our land can be labelled “ours” by any of “us”. They’re not! They are not suffering the home burnings or sheltering in the bushes. How are they “ours” while they rake in cash and try to get our poor citizens out to pose as protesters against us?

They must choose, and they have. “They” are not more important than baby Martha

The ADF should hold a proper trial and, if convicted, enablers must serve their sentences.

LRC -Russia Agreement; Ambazonia Has Won!!

Beti Assomo and Gen Choigou

Reports and images are circulating of the agreement between LRC’s Beti Assomo and Russia’s defence minister Gen Choigou. There are many possible outcomes to the coorporation including the possible entrance of Vladimir Putin’s private army know as Wagner Group. That would be something to fear. But BIR was something to fear and they have done their worst and left Mr Biya needing to go cap-in-hand to MR Putin… Ambazonia should celebrate that victory!

Another outcome is the possible reaction of “the International Community” to the previously “internal problem” which they dealt with by expressing “concern” and allowing Mr Biya all sorts of of latitude to “solve”. Hence the infamous Great National Dialogue and other gimmicks. The “outcome” of the GDN, which lead to “Special Status” has not “solved” the “internal problem” and has not stopped Mr Biya needing to go cap-in-hand to Mr Putin, who himself has used up all his diplomatic capital and is unlikely to get away with fuelling another conflict while the International wait cross-armed… Ambazonia should celebrate that victory!!

Ambazonian factions are finally talking collaboration. And about time too! So even if Wagner turn up we will make losses but not lose. LRC, on the other hand, will have to recon with their colonial masters who are in the opposite camp to Russia in the European conflict! France’s grip on their African colonies will only loosen and Ambazonia will get the credit for progressing the course of African independence…Ambazonia should celebrate that victory!!!

Ambazonia Alive and Kicking

This week Ambazonia has shown resilience beyond our detractors and distractions. It is now clear that Ambazonia is here to stay and any designs by LRC or mistakes or misjudgements by us Ambazonia are ineffectual.

The international community, which has always endorsed our course, is now increasingly willing to openly address our plight. The biggest of these instances was the announcement of TPS by the US administration for Cameroonians. This provides a safe haven for escapees and freedom campaigners seeking to restore justice and our statehood after it has become clear that cohabitation with LRC has not worked and has always been ill-fated.

A recent outing by Honorable Nagy said that the advent of Ambazonia was only a matter of time and was inevitable. We should take heart and encouragement from those open expressions.

We should continue to put our case in any corridors we can access while we help ourselves. Remember, LRC’s hope was that we would become wary. While it is honest to accept that some of us are, it is also very encouraging to not how we are reacting to it.

This author has been in more contact with our people and in every exchange our activists at many different levels have universally preached allegiance to the flag before and group interest. They have all called for collaboration in liberating our homeland regardless of our group affiliations. One LGA, which I am not naming is resetting on a reconciliation platform where they will focus on action to liberate the LGA and improve conditions for the population. As it happens, a spontaneous example of new resolve was the story of a patient who accidentally break a local lockdown to go for hospital treatment was intercepted on their way back home. Investigations quickly shed light on the situation and they were cared for and supported thereafter by our forces.

Our people need to see that the daily sacrifices they make are aligned and in harmony with the more immediate sacrifices made by our Restoration forces towards the same goal. When LRC come in to try and sow division, our alignment and common objective will see us through for LRC cannot help being themselves as occupiers!!!

The Most High God is the Watchman of our nation.

Action and Accountability Cabinet announced.

The IG has released a seven-department cabinet focused on Action and Accountability. The definitive list will appear on Ambazonia News as soon as we can establish its complete accuracy.

It should be recalled that President Marianta Njomia in her inaugural speech pleged to prioritize GZ and ensure accountability.

It is no secret that the turmoil of the recently removed government has sowed confusion in the LGAs so one of the urgent tasks is the reconstitution and revitalisation of all LGAs to return to the important task of defending our land and people.

Ambazonia News understands that President Marianta Njomia is keen on collaboration as a way of ensuring that all RFs base their rules of engagement on the common objective of restoring Ambazonia.

Initial soundings by Ambazonia News point to an alignment of ideas already as it was noted that many reconstituting groups [LGAs] are basing their modus operandi on “allegiance to the flag first and foremost” as they seek to adapt.

The future is bright.

The Ambazonian Anthem

Hail Hail Hail This land of Glory
We the Ambazonians Pledge our Loyalty
Praise the son our saviour Who granted us our Freedom
Allegiance to the Heroes who Bore the Land with their blood
Glory to Glory we rise And never to fall
Here in a nation Flowing with milk and honey
Glory, Glory Glory to the father
For making you a Nation A joy for evermore
Chorus:
Ambazonia!
Land of Freedom
You shall live in plenty Meeting our needs
And your Children shall Be Like the Stars above
The most High God being The watch Man of this Nation (Repeat)

British parliamentarian calls attention to Ambazonia Genocide

Please read this article by UK parliamentarian Claudia Webbe MP who spoke during the second session of the UNMASK Program Launch a couple of weeks ago.

To connect the dots, UNMASK is an initiative by Ambazonia activists to draw the international community’s attention to the experience of the victims of the war in the Former British Southern Cameroons.

During the launch of UNMASK Claudia Webbe MP spoke eloquently showing a sound and balanced understanding of the background of the conflict.

Kudos to Claudia Webbe MP for following up her attendance and participation with this article. “Thank you” has never felt less adequate.

The “Retreat”…

The CDN Retreat October 2021.
Well done to CDN for bringing together the widest ever gathering of Southern Cameroons leaders and actors.

Whatever our views, there is no denying that the war will end through dialogue and negotiation. There is no denying either that Southern Cameroons is making less headway than she could due to a relative lack of collaboration between her leaders and activists.
The slowness of pace is not necessarily a bad thing as those leaders hoping to run the country must gain experience of dealing with diverse opinions and even political opponents. In view of that need for tolerance and flexibility, CDN is to be commended for the “Retreat”.

Detractors of the CDN will be concerned that CDN is not “sufficiently distant” from LRC especially as its founding pillars include the vague notion of “return of peace through negotiation and reconciliation and reconstruction”.
This last phrase was sullied by LRC’s hoax of “reconstruction” and other cosmetic patches.
LRC may well look at the CDN and see a useful tool or arena to find “moderates” who would be willing to front up for those cosmetic changes but CDN aims are not at odds with an eventual separation and two states. In no way could LRC expect to take advantage of CDN, whose founders have never failed to call out the atrocities on “Ground Zero”. Neither, as far as it is evident, does CDN commit itself to deliver anything more than its services as a facilitatornl.

On the contrary, if LRC wishes to “take advantage” by engaging true dialogue and negotiations …

The ideal would be a negotiated separation but it must be accepted that that would be a reconciliation as well as lead to the reconstruction of both states. This is a convoluted statement that “coincidences” in LRC statements and slogans are just that – coincidences. It should not be discounted that LRC is constantly seeking to appropriate Southern Cameroons opinion to create those deceptive slogans.
On balance, the benefit of building trust among Southern Cameroons leaders outweighs the risk of LRC infiltrators. That time has past and it is clear that only a small minority of Southern Cameroonians, as is their right, still believe in a Federation with LRC. Ironically, those who would not consider a federation can rely on LRC to ensure it does not come to pass! Why would LRC go to war and interrogate people who use the word “federation” only to revert to negotiating for a federation? Even if that were to emerge, Southern Cameroons would still be in a better position with leaders who have mutual understanding and are single minded on the fundamentals – the ethos and civism of Southern Cameroons.
Thus the most encouraging report to emerge from the Retreat was the cordiality of discussions especially if opinions were divergent.
The absence of the IG from the Retreat is at this point not a big problem for either “side”. The confidence building will be slightly slower for that absence but the leaders need time to reflect and adapt to the statesmanship that they will be called on to exercise in due course. If anything we could hope that that lack of a rush to “return peace” shows a patience that we accept that the struggle need not conclude “in a hurry”. We are relaxed in the knowledge that it will take some time and will similarly patiently build consensus among our leaders on the fundamentals of our state. Onwards to the next retreat, in that case.

The leaders who attended the Retreat did not go to create a homogenous one-party to submit to LRC! Knowing a little about some the leaders I can safely state the idea of “submitting” anything to LRC would not have been entertained even by the most “moderate” romantic.
