Ambazonia Alive and Kicking

This week Ambazonia has shown resilience beyond our detractors and distractions. It is now clear that Ambazonia is here to stay and any designs by LRC or mistakes or misjudgements by us Ambazonia are ineffectual.

The international community, which has always endorsed our course, is now increasingly willing to openly address our plight. The biggest of these instances was the announcement of TPS by the US administration for Cameroonians. This provides a safe haven for escapees and freedom campaigners seeking to restore justice and our statehood after it has become clear that cohabitation with LRC has not worked and has always been ill-fated.

A recent outing by Honorable Nagy said that the advent of Ambazonia was only a matter of time and was inevitable. We should take heart and encouragement from those open expressions.

We should continue to put our case in any corridors we can access while we help ourselves. Remember, LRC’s hope was that we would become wary. While it is honest to accept that some of us are, it is also very encouraging to not how we are reacting to it.

This author has been in more contact with our people and in every exchange our activists at many different levels have universally preached allegiance to the flag before and group interest. They have all called for collaboration in liberating our homeland regardless of our group affiliations. One LGA, which I am not naming is resetting on a reconciliation platform where they will focus on action to liberate the LGA and improve conditions for the population. As it happens, a spontaneous example of new resolve was the story of a patient who accidentally break a local lockdown to go for hospital treatment was intercepted on their way back home. Investigations quickly shed light on the situation and they were cared for and supported thereafter by our forces.

Our people need to see that the daily sacrifices they make are aligned and in harmony with the more immediate sacrifices made by our Restoration forces towards the same goal. When LRC come in to try and sow division, our alignment and common objective will see us through for LRC cannot help being themselves as occupiers!!!

The Most High God is the Watchman of our nation.

Action and Accountability Cabinet announced.

The IG has released a seven-department cabinet focused on Action and Accountability. The definitive list will appear on Ambazonia News as soon as we can establish its complete accuracy.

It should be recalled that President Marianta Njomia in her inaugural speech pleged to prioritize GZ and ensure accountability.

It is no secret that the turmoil of the recently removed government has sowed confusion in the LGAs so one of the urgent tasks is the reconstitution and revitalisation of all LGAs to return to the important task of defending our land and people.

Ambazonia News understands that President Marianta Njomia is keen on collaboration as a way of ensuring that all RFs base their rules of engagement on the common objective of restoring Ambazonia.

Initial soundings by Ambazonia News point to an alignment of ideas already as it was noted that many reconstituting groups [LGAs] are basing their modus operandi on “allegiance to the flag first and foremost” as they seek to adapt.

The future is bright.

The Ambazonian Anthem

British parliamentarian calls attention to Ambazonia Genocide

Please read this article by UK parliamentarian Claudia Webbe MP who spoke during the second session of the UNMASK Program Launch a couple of weeks ago.

To connect the dots, UNMASK is an initiative by Ambazonia activists to draw the international community’s attention to the experience of the victims of the war in the Former British Southern Cameroons.

During the launch of UNMASK Claudia Webbe MP spoke eloquently showing a sound and balanced understanding of the background of the conflict.

Kudos to Claudia Webbe MP for following up her attendance and participation with this article. “Thank you” has never felt less adequate.

The “Retreat”…

The CDN Retreat October 2021.
Well done to CDN for bringing together the widest ever gathering of Southern Cameroons leaders and actors.

Whatever our views, there is no denying that the war will end through dialogue and negotiation. There is no denying either that Southern Cameroons is making less headway than she could due to a relative lack of collaboration between her leaders and activists.
The slowness of pace is not necessarily a bad thing as those leaders hoping to run the country must gain experience of dealing with diverse opinions and even political opponents. In view of that need for tolerance and flexibility, CDN is to be commended for the “Retreat”.

Detractors of the CDN will be concerned that CDN is not “sufficiently distant” from LRC especially as its founding pillars include the vague notion of “return of peace through negotiation and reconciliation and reconstruction”.
This last phrase was sullied by LRC’s hoax of “reconstruction” and other cosmetic patches.
LRC may well look at the CDN and see a useful tool or arena to find “moderates” who would be willing to front up for those cosmetic changes but CDN aims are not at odds with an eventual separation and two states. In no way could LRC expect to take advantage of CDN, whose founders have never failed to call out the atrocities on “Ground Zero”. Neither, as far as it is evident, does CDN commit itself to deliver anything more than its services as a facilitatornl.

On the contrary, if LRC wishes to “take advantage” by engaging true dialogue and negotiations …

The ideal would be a negotiated separation but it must be accepted that that would be a reconciliation as well as lead to the reconstruction of both states. This is a convoluted statement that “coincidences” in LRC statements and slogans are just that – coincidences. It should not be discounted that LRC is constantly seeking to appropriate Southern Cameroons opinion to create those deceptive slogans.
On balance, the benefit of building trust among Southern Cameroons leaders outweighs the risk of LRC infiltrators. That time has past and it is clear that only a small minority of Southern Cameroonians, as is their right, still believe in a Federation with LRC. Ironically, those who would not consider a federation can rely on LRC to ensure it does not come to pass! Why would LRC go to war and interrogate people who use the word “federation” only to revert to negotiating for a federation? Even if that were to emerge, Southern Cameroons would still be in a better position with leaders who have mutual understanding and are single minded on the fundamentals – the ethos and civism of Southern Cameroons.
Thus the most encouraging report to emerge from the Retreat was the cordiality of discussions especially if opinions were divergent.
The absence of the IG from the Retreat is at this point not a big problem for either “side”. The confidence building will be slightly slower for that absence but the leaders need time to reflect and adapt to the statesmanship that they will be called on to exercise in due course. If anything we could hope that that lack of a rush to “return peace” shows a patience that we accept that the struggle need not conclude “in a hurry”. We are relaxed in the knowledge that it will take some time and will similarly patiently build consensus among our leaders on the fundamentals of our state. Onwards to the next retreat, in that case.

The leaders who attended the Retreat did not go to create a homogenous one-party to submit to LRC! Knowing a little about some the leaders I can safely state the idea of “submitting” anything to LRC would not have been entertained even by the most “moderate” romantic.

Mr Ngute continues flogging a dead horse in Ambazonia

The last couple of weeks saw the Prime Minister, Head of Government of La Republique du Cameroun Mr Dion Ngute, ignore his shame and embark on a “review tour” of Ambazonia. He first stopped in Buea, where he had audiences, in the image of “his great national dialogue” of 2019, with a mirror. He then headed for Bamenda where he had “a close shave” before facing yet another mirror. In a speech on such an important mission, he appeared to lose he “train of thought” and declare it was time for “independence”.

It was akin to missing, in football parlance, from the goal line given that he was facing a vetted audience.

His luck did not hold any better than it had last time when one of “his ministers” clarified his promises [of a no-taboo dialogue] immediately after he had made them in Bamenda in back in 2019. This time a gendarme manning one of the physical road blocks which seem perversely to illustrate his metaphorical ones shot and killed a school girl in her mother’s car.

Mr Ngute is yet to be heard on the subject of this school child brutally shot in her mothers car on her way to school in Buea.

He has left it just long enough do that any comments will be hollow even to himself!
Where is a child supposed to be safest if not with their mother?
How are Mr Ngute’s ministers going to continue to claim that the militias are there to protect? How will they continue to say “normality” has returned to the Anblophone “regions”?
How will MR Ngute be able to even utter a world about his so-called review of the farcical “National Dialogue” nevermind that it failed to meet his prior promise of “no taboo subjects”! It failed even to include all the “moderate”, read pro-status quo parties and even then, lacked the tactical nouse to table the contentious topics for what would have been “sandboxed” one-sided “discussions”.
Was that an acknowledgemet that they did not even trust their vetted attended to stick to the script?
Where to now for MR Ngute? He is done! A new solution will be to find another “more accaptable anglophone prime minister”!
They may as well go on a unicorn hunt!

CRIMES IN ANGLOPHONE: A DESERTOR SOLDIER DOES FRACASSING REVEALS

′′ I’ve seen things that happened in the English-speaking area, I’ve decided to desert and break the silence “, said a Cameroonian soldier in a 18 minute 21 second audio in our possession ….. In these confidences, the deserting young military gives reasons why civilians are regularly targeted by Cameroonian army in Southern Cameroons (Northwest & Southwest): ′′ We arrive in a village because we are told that the enemy is in this village, now we have to talk with the people and generally, they refuse to collaborate for fear of retaliation, so we have to force this population by doing something that will scare them… when a military man has been killed in a village, you have to deratize the village and kill everything including chickens and roosters… civilians have a problem here because of refusing to collaborate, the more you do not collaborate, the more you are killed… the numbers often given regarding the number of civilians killed are not accurate because there are bodies we will never find “, regret the ex-military.

The young soldier confirms the existence in the zone of false separatist groups created by the Yaoundé regime: ′′ When we were on the pitch, I thought it was people who helped us find ambazonians because I was there to fight the ambazonians, but we realized that their ideology was not that of ambazonians who fight for their independence. There are military personnel in these government-formed armed groups just as there are in the ambazonian camp and they are mandated to give intelligence to the military “. ex-military paid tribute to Field Marshall, his ex-weapon comrade today commander of the separatist armed group Red Dragons controlling Lebialem (southwest): ′′ Field Marshall is a great military leader. As far as I know he has 36 sentinels even Paul Biya doesn’t have that many sentinels. To those who say ah Field Marshall, we arrested him, he ran away… every Field Marshall sentinel consists of a lot of men, that means killing a hundred people before reaching him “.

The military also talks about the causes of desertions in the army: ′′ I couldn’t handle getting to a village and being forced to shave it knowing that my family is somewhere. Other Anglophone military deserted to go to the ambazonians. It was the Anglophone crisis that caused mass desertions in the army. It’s true that there were cases of desertions in the Far North because when children were being enlisted in the Multinational Force, many have fled because their comrades were killed because they thought they were going to be fine. Many have fled to go to Chad. But it was this English speaking problem that caused these massive desertions. The military is in English-speaking zone more to protect himself and not all orders of the hierarchy are welcome “.

THE AMBAZONIAN PEOPLE’S COMMUNICATION TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY

THAT
The quest from the overwhelming majority of Ambazonians is for total independence and statehood restoration.

THAT
This overwhelming majority is structured under a worldwide community mobilization body with the People’s legitimate elected representatives of the 13 counties and the 61 LGAs of the Federal Republicof Ambazonia (FRA).

THAT
This overwhelming majority pays allegiance to the community based Interim Government of the FRA whose leadership is constitutionally delegated to Dr Samuel Ikome Sako.

THAT
Mr Ayuk Tabe , imprisoned or free, has NO MANDATE to speak for the Ambazonian people. He was impeached by the Restoration Council , the highest legislative institution of our revolutionary body.

THAT
Dr Samuel Ikome Sako endorsed self defence as a legitimate tool for our people to defend themselves from the genocidal war declared upon them by President Paul Biya of La Republic du Cameroun (LRC).

THAT
The Ambazonia Restoration Forces (ARFs) who are community freedom fighters align under all the 61 LGAs that are pillar extensions of the Interim Government headed by H. E. Dr Samuel Ikome Sako as President and CIC, constitute the largest if not the sole functional self-defence organ in the whole territory of Ambazonia.

THAT
No prisoner nor LRC selected interlocutors nor coalition without the mandate of Ambazonians will negotiate the terms of our independence, talk less of calling for ceasefire because we never declared war.

THAT
The Ambazonian plight for sovereignty is an international problem and requires mediation on an internationally mediated platform. The Swiss led mediation is the only internationally endorsed platform for mediation at this moment and the Ambazonia Coalition Team (ACT) represents the independentist’s platform with the overwhelming majority of the Ambazonian citizens worldwide.

THAT
We are cautioning the international institutions and international media houses not to fall prey to any deceitful or manipulative attempts from LRC to allocate and impose the people’s mandate on their cronies or enablers nor derail the jurisdiction of our plight to an internal problem because that will never bring a lasting “peace through justice” solution to the conflict.

THAT
No backdoor communication should be held between any Ambazonian citizens and the enemy- LRC. Defaulters will be VOMITED, publicly SHAMED and PROSECUTED when we get to Buea.

THAT
The UNSHAKABLE resolve of this generation of indigenes from Southern Cameroons aka Ambazonia, is nothing short from statehood restoration and that we will employ all resources at their disposal through the ongoing Ambazonia War Draft (AWARD), to fully resist any imposed manipulation from LRC or LRC enabling cronies of federalist or unionist or international conspiring institutions or countries.

THAT
The international institutions (UN, AU, EU…), the international media houses (CNN, BBC, VOA, Al Jazeera, RFI….), international humanitarian and human rights organizations (Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, UNICEF, WFP, WHO, International Federation of the Red Cross, …), LRC and its allies or cronies or enablers, are ALL advised or cautioned to consider reliable and representative is the aspirations of the Ambazonian People; or contact or relate with the following mandated institutions representing the will, aspiration and desire of the Ambazonian people, hence institutions that have the mandate of the overwhelming majority of the Ambazonian People, for reliable information on positions or policies related to the Ambazonian quest for Independence and statehood restoration:
-The Ambazonia IG’s spokesman Sec. Chris Anu
-The Ambazonian Secretary Of State (SOS) for Defence Bishop John Egyawan
-The Ambazonia National Security Council (ANSC) spokesman Comrade Langmi Nestor
-The Ambazonia Restoration Forces (ARF) spokespersons Gabonaise and Masterplanner

THAT
The facts and positions expressed in this document are endorsed by a Constituent General Assembly in the presence of the representatives of all tiers of the Interim Government of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia and will be reiterated to the international community by US, by the grassroot leadership of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia and by our Pro-IG Activists.

Independence is ours. We must, we are and we will continue to be resilient until we achieve our goal.

Penn Terrence says…

♦️♦️Prisoners do not negotiate, Sisiku AyukTabe says♦️♦️

By Penn Terence One Of Those Who attended the talks.Read on

The words being widely spewed on the social space are “Negotiations” and “Dialogue”. This is done with the intent of poisoning the social space and the minds of every Ambazonian with the fact that “Prisoners do not negotiate for Free men”

I can assure this noble house that neither of that is taking place between President Sisiku AyukTabe and the Government of La Republique du Cameroun. Our president has made it abundantly clear that Prisoners do not not negotiate because they will do that from a point of weakness. Again, he has made it clear that no one person alone can negotiate over Ambazonia. It will take a cream of our finest experts cut across the board or chosen by every leader in the quest for the complete independence of Ambazonia to negotiate for Ambazonia when the time comes and that time isn’t now. What is happening now should have happened long ago when they were brought in from Nigeria.

However the case, the Government of Cameroun has only initiated pretalks on the way forward. President Sisiku AyukTabe had put certain conditions to be met by Paul Biya and his country before any negotiation (be it the Swiss Talks, the American or the UN led mediation etc) can begin. These conditions can be presented by just anyone who has the people he is fighting for at heart and not the president himself.

Before any negotiation can begin, the president has asked for four things to be done by Cameroun as a show of good faith;

1- The demilitarization of Southern Cameroons and the immediate call for a cease fire ( After all, it was Paul Biya who declared war on our people and he will be the one to call a cease fire to that war)

2- The release of everyone locked up because of the Ambazonian war of independence. Everyone must be accounted for.

3- The granting of a general amnesty to every Ambazonian around the world to come home and consult with love ones and leadership on the possible way forward without any fear of police harrassment

4-After the first three conditions MUST have been met as a show of good faith, then will both parties set the time line and place for negotiations to be done in the presence of a third party and on a neutral space.

The Government of La Republique du Cameroun only met with him and his team to address these conditions set by Sisiku AyukTabe (on behalf of all Ambazonians) who is aware that it is his duty NEVER to fail the people who look up to him. Positive strides are being made and he will update all Ambazonians when the time comes. For now, it is imperative for us all to give him the blessings that he needs. To whom much is given so much more is expected and President Sisiku AyukTabe is aware of that.

My response to the above!

If that is the stance of Julius AyukTabe, I would say he is perfectly correct: Prisoners do not negotiate.

1) This debunks some of his supporters who argue that Ayuktabe and his team in prison have the right to negotiate.

2) the conditions given by Sisiku for any potential negotiation are perfectly reasonable. I have been against all-inclusive dialogue/negotiation and negotiations without pre-conditions. That is why I have always challenged the Swiss-led talks and Tibor Nagy who kept insisting that there should be an all-inclusive dialogue without any pre-conditions. Where in the world have you seen negotiations at such levels in such cases without pre-conditions? So, Julius is right in his argument.

If you say what happened in Geneva was not negotiation but pee-talks, then I have this to say. l agree that it was not the negotiation. And if you call it pre-talks, that is not the way pre-talks are conducted.

3) The PREPARATION of pre-talks or pre-negotiations are conducted internally and not externally.

4) The leadership has to identify two groups of people. One for pre-negotiation and another group that constitutes our actual negotiators.

5) Only the selected pre-negotiators would be going for all pre-talks meetings. You don’t have to take the entire leadership movements to Geneva, Paris, Yaounde, Washington DC or New York for senseless meetings known as “pre-talks” or ‘capacity building’.

5) Our negotiators only step in after the terms agreed by our pre-negotiators and at the actual negotiation.

The leaderships of our struggle have my proposal which is in more details.

I am not a fan of any of the leaders. I am a fan of the struggle.
