Ambazonia Team ACT – In-coming chair promises more collaboration

Ambazonian Flag

Patriot Epassamoto was introduced as the new chair of ACT in the group’s weekly meeting on 3/6/23.  He was introduced by the out-going Chair, Dr Taylor who is going to continue as one of the college of three along side Epassamoto and the soon-to-be designated next chair from MORISC.

For background information ACT is a collaboration group of several Ambazonian Liberation independentist entities which has engaged in a huge amount of capacity building and collaboration notably in the run up to the Swiss process and again in the Canadian pre talks process. Recently ACT has deployed some of that experience in navigating the spate of conference initiatives.

The Chair’s Objectives for the 6 month ahead:

Address of current chair of trio chairs of ACT on Saturday 3rd June 2023. 👇🏽

Patriotic Greetings!

We, the Interim Government (IG) of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia (FRA) will want to share the 4 main intentions of our chairmanship with all seating entities of the Ambazonian Coalition Team (ACT) (Team Ambazonia) for your appraisal, scrutiny, suggestions, consolidation and validation as action plan, so that during the subsequent 6 months it becomes our collective engagement as Team Ambazonia to work towards materializing the adopted action plan.

We will:

1) Work in strict collaboration as trio chairmanship to materialize pending projects that had been adopted by ACT (es USIP, ACT Fireside ….) as well as remain open to work with each independentist entity in ACT to present to this ACT Council, their suggestions or proposals of initiatives that will uphold the institutional strength of ACT and fast track the freedom, independence and sovereignty of Ambazonia.

We will,

2) Foster Inter-ACT member entity collaboration through effective Participation and Promotion of initiatives of ACT member entity that are geared towards fighting THE ENEMY, on the believe that the success of any ACT member entity is success for Ambazonia.
ACT member entities might differ in approach in fighting the enemy. This does not mean we are divided as the International Community would want to put it. Our differences in approach in fighting the enemy should rather be considered an indisputable strength in so long as we are UNITED in our Objective or Purpose of a FREE, INDEPENDENT and SOVEREIGN Ambazonia.

We will,

3) Make concerted effort to CATEGORICALLY REJECT THE LONG-LASTING COLONIAL MENTAL MANIPULATION OF AMBAZONIANS by ensuring that the RIGHT MINDSET is preserved and the APPROPRIATE APPELLATIONS are used in our communication within the Ambazonian community as well as, in our communication when addressing the International Community.

We are where we are today, as an invaded and suppressed people, because the western world has persistently inculcated THEIR ideology of a “dependent-freedom in the name of freedom” through a systematic and voluntary verbal inculcation of words that have manipulatively poised the mindset of our people over the years, to the extent that most of our people turn to forgo their right to total freedom and just feel privileged and satisfied for the “dipendent-freedom” or “half-freedom” package that has been fraudulently offered by the international community.

I’ll therefore be respectfully craving your indulgence to the effect that during these 6 months Chairmanship and hopefully thereafter, we all try as much as possible to use and address ourselves and the International Community with a terminology that fully dignifies who we are as a people and that fully expresses what we as leaders of different Ambazonian independentist entities are mandated to represent per the WILL of our people, without fear or favor and without mincing words.

Going forward, we should consider the need to stick firm to specific appellations that will affirm our stance and erase the decades of mental manipulation of our people.

In the prosecution and management of our liberation struggle, we should therefore rationally, strategically, tactically and persistently ADOPT the use of:

i) INDEPENDENTIST (not just stakeholder): The prime stake in our liberation struggle is the total and unconditional independence of Ambazonia. We must therefore persistently and unapologetically state the precise prime stake that we hold in the prosecution of our liberation, without leaving room for any skepticism.

ii) ENTITY(not group, not movements, not organization): An entity is a BEING, defined by her distinct and independent existence. It would be more appropriate in our communication for our different groupings or movements or organizations to be considered as ENTITIES. We should therefore say “Ambazonian Independentist ENTITIES” henceforth.

iii) PATRIOT(not comrade): A comrade is a colleague or a fellow member of an organization. It defines just the belonging. In fact a Comrade can be an accomplice in orchestrating extortion and Kidnapping, or an ally in facilitating the syphoning of community funds or a proxy in patronizing a private business agenda. A Patriot is a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors. So the word Patriot defines both a belonging and specifically defines the commitment to sacrifice temporal, economic and intellectual resources SELFLESSLY for the well-being of a People and a Nation. We are therefore Patriots in a liberation struggle because the quest of our plight is attaining a free, independent and sovereign Ambazonia, not comrades mentally manipulated to fight for internal reforms, hence a revolution in the context of a one Cameroon.

iv) LIBERATION STRUGGLE (not revolution): A Revolution is an uprising or insurgency in the context of a one nation, like One Cameroon, aimed at clamoring for internal reforms with the objective of a forcible overthrow of a government.
Conceptually we no more belong to any one Cameroon agenda nor recognize the governance of LRC.
A Liberation struggle on the other hand is an armed rebellion waged by a people to secure FREEDOM from either colonial rule or minority oppression.
We are fighting against Cameroons invasion, oppression and neocolonialism agenda of Ambazonia, hence ours is a LIBERATION STRUGGLE, not a revolution.

v) THE ENEMY LRC, her Allies, Enablers and Proxies (not just The Enemy): Going forward, we should convincingly and unapologetically use the appellation “THE ENEMY” to mean LRC, her Allies, Enablers and Proxies that we are committed to fight against.

vi) Social, Economic and Political FREEDOM (Not just Freedom)
Our quest for total and unconditional independence covers our legitimate claim as a people for the right to SOCIAL Justice, the right to manage our RESOURCES and the right to free association with other independent sovereign states.
We will therefore use and make explicitly clear to any third party that our quest for freedom entails fighting for Social, Economic and Political FREEDOM, as entailed in the UN chatter on the right to EXTERNAL SELF-DETERMINATION of a people, that denotes the legal right of a people to decide their own destiny in the international order.

We will,

4) Work in strict collaboration as trio chairmanship and upon effective and timely consultation with ACT, in BUILDING CONSENSUS FOR ALL-INCLUSIVENESS OF AMBAZONIAN INDEPENDENTIST ENTITIES.
PREMISES
We will be working in line with the ACT constitutional document and based on the premises that I will cherish to share for a better comprehension of our unflinching efforts towards BUILDING CONSENSUS FOR ALL-INCLUSIVENESS OF AMBAZONIAN INDEPENDENTIST ENTITIES.
We will work on the obligatory premise that:
a) We all represent Independentist entities that are fighting THE ENEMY LRC her Allies, Enablers and Proxies Diplomatically or/and in Self-defence or/and in Advocacy;
On the premise that:
b) Each independentist entity boarded in ACT is honestly and effectively engaging in fighting the enemy as declared to ACT or as prescribed by their constitutional document;
On the premise that
c) We should recognize, appreciate and empower the strength that each entity brings to the coalition, ACT;
On the premise that
d) ACT will remain open to and make continuous efforts to ensure all-inclusiveness of any identified Ambazonian Independentist entity that is fighting the enemy.

In summary, during this tenure of chairmanship of ACT, we would cherish to be seen ACTing (note the acronym of ACT!) as patriots of the Ambazonian liberation struggle that are putting efforts to build consensus for all-inclusiveness of the Ambazonia independentist entities without undermining the strength that any independentist entity brings to the coalition.

The rationale is that once a consensus on all-inclusiveness is attained, we can, at any given time, COLLECTIVELY decide on a REPRESENTATIVE BODY from within the coalition, when need arises, without nursing sentiments of exclusion. This will preemptively guarantee that the outcome of any deliberations sustained by a REPRESENTATIVE BODY OF ACT, that will function in strict consultation with all independentist entities within ACT, will be representative of the will of the Ambazonian people and will be Authentic, Binding and Void of spoilers.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share these four main objectives of the IG Chairmanship tenure with you.

I am sharing this presentation in the ACT forum and await your feedback, for adoption, before presenting it officially during our upcoming ACT Fireside.

I will be reaching out to the leadership of all the Ambazonian Independentist Entities in ACT not present in this meeting, including Abdul Karim, to align the working intentions during these 6 months tenure of chairmanship.

I’ll end by extending enormous gratitude to the previous seating ACT Chair Patriot Taylor and previous outgoing ACT Chair Patriot Chebs for their efforts to bring us where we are today. I’ll be counting on their expertise and support and the support of every single Patriot in ACT to accomplish the mission statement that will be agreed upon and asigned to the current trio chair leadership.

Together we will exhale for Ambazonia.

God bless the Federal Republic of Ambazonia!

Celebrate or dread … the advent of Ambazonian collaboration?

Ambazonian Flag

The recent buzz, not to say dernier cri is the feverish preparation of various incarnations of an “All Ambazonian Conference” AAC. It would appear that the confusion that would have arisen from calling such a gathering “AAC” had not initially been apparent to the various “convenors”. The subject of convenors is big in itself, but more later, time permitting.

A little before this became really big and the thing, Ambazonia News discussed the concept of the All Ambazonia bit of the conference, raising questions on who the participants should be and why/how it could impact the conference and the larger Liberation struggle.

On the subject of Collaboration, which would clearly accrue from a conference of this sort, Ambazonia News has always advocated and once sketched the various combinations of collaboration that could foster and expedite the Liberation struggle. These reminders should be borne in mind when the next few questions and analysis/suggestions are considered. We must bear in mind also that nothing is linear in terms of cause and effect maybe apart, almost uniquely from the idea that if the Liberation Struggle loses momentum then LRC does not need to negotiate no matter how well attended and united an All Ambazonian Conference presents.

Ambazonian News Celebrates Collaboration … but

At Ambazonia News, having extolled collaboration, it would be odd to suddenly object. Collaboration will ensure that Ambazonia wins on the ground more quickly regardless of the machinations of international partners. This winning collaboration is in ensuring that all our restoration forces act in a coordinated fashion and back each other up at all times, regardless of what political faction backs them. As per a previous post by Ambazonia News, this collaboration should be through the local autonomy of the forces in realising that their literal survival relies on the support and trust of all their neighbouring restoration forces. They should be able to trust that LRC forces will not cross Ambazonian counties unchallenged to surprise any other Ambazonian county. At the very least there should be no surprises when it comes to the movements and locations of LRC militias in Ambazonia and so no restoration forces should be surprise victims of any LRC ambushes.

At this moment, the movement on organising political conferences needs to have zero influence on the ground collaboration which should always remain on the “life-and-death-trust” level sketched here as in previous posts.
Ambazonia News would celebrate and promote any “AAC” which enhances the ground collaboration thus. The danger Ambazonia News would watch for is the “AAC for negotiation”.

This is where many “leaders” are deliberately posturing to be in the limelight for the sole purpose of being at a negotiating table with LRC. At best, this would be a pipe dream as LRC has formally dismissed any intention to attend any negotiations and cannot be made so to do by any international partners no matter how well-meaning. They may apply some sanctions or organise mentoring sessions with some Ambazonian stakeholders but those have no benefit in terms of progress towards Ambazonian Independence even if the flattery is irresistible! Those international partner mentors will melt into the ether if the momentum of the Liberation Struggle dissipates as LRC hopes.

The only good thing that mentoring and facilitation from international partners could/should be that the beneficiaries are so used to the flattery and so enjoy it that they realise why they are getting it … at least in part. This attention and flattery is due to the resilience and persistence of the ground forces, hence the assurance of this new importance status with the international partners relies on maintaining/improving ground success! That should be the virtuous circle.
The risk is that the international partners create a sandbox for the Ambazonian political leaders where the latter can “safely” indulge in grandiose posturing while neglecting the ground to LRC’s benefit – ultimately leading to a situation where LRC, having already dismissed negotiations does not feel compelled. Ambazonia News posted previously quoting certain leaders declaring that LRC would be dragged to the negotiation table. Our hope at Ambazonia News is that some of those leaders do not see the sandbox they are in as a start of negotiations – LRC has dismissed negotiations AND the international community does not have the Ambazonian interests at heart and nor should they! What is their interest in Ambazonia? What is the mutuality?
And what about the projected and already unfolding chaos in LRC? Wont it benefit Ambazonia? If and only if the there is the level of collaboration between the RF sketched above -and more! BUW have already been calling for other county RF to “draw” some of the LRC fire much along the lines of the collaboration sketched here!

The convenors who are they?

The Convenors should be the main players and beneficiaries of the Conference. They should be the people of Ambazonia exactly like it should have been the people of The Former UN Trust Territory of British Southern Cameroons who voted in 1961, having decided whether independence was or was not for them at the time. Just like then, a litany of mentors does not know better and while they can be mentors they cannot decide the time or timing, the agenda, the attendance or composition of the “All Ambazonian Conference”. The mentors’ mentoring should only be mentoring and no nudges or pressure to promote any timetable or agenda which could act against Ambazonian interests. The people of Ambazonia should. By definition Ambazonians are independentists. Independentists entities should represent the people who have, over the last seven years chosen independence by voluntarily abstaining from LRC activities, abstained from voting in LRC, started their community education to help them break LRC colonialism.

In conclusion collaboration in political circles can only benefit Ambazonian Independence if it leads to more collaboration among RFs on the ground leading to more victories on the ground. This first outcome would be the logical genesis of a strong negotiating position which need not actually rely on LRC’s choice to attend or not attend. In this scenario the AAC – or whatever they turn out to be called – bring together a coalition of independentists, who while ironing out political differences, still prioritise the Liberation struggle outside any sandbox. Over to our “Leaders” now to judge for themselves whether they are in a sandbox and what they will achieve from a “conference”.

The Most High God remains the Watchman of Ambazonia despite our mistakes. Let us choose the right collaboration. Ground Zero is not a sandbox

IG Response Global Affairs Canada.

Ambazonian Flag

The IG has reiterated her engagement in the Canadian Mediation process outlined in the Global Affairs Canada announcement.

In a letter to the Hon Melanie Joly, the Minister in charge of GAC, the IG points out the outstanding conditions needed for Canada to meet the threshold for a fair and transparent mediation process. It is worth recalling that the IG had addressed a similar caution to the GAC officials during the pre-talks when when some of the practices left the pre-talks open to opaque participants and truncated preparation time for some of the Ambazonian stakeholders.

In the new correspondence, the IG flags the phraseology of “NW and SW regions of Cameroon” and perception created that the mediation, though clearly external, could be mistaken for internal.

President to caution against repeating mistakes in end-of-year address.

Ambazonian Flag

IG President Iya Marianta is set to address Ambazonians on the eve of the new year 2023.

After an eventful tenure characterized by “actions speaking louder than words” she may want to remind the people to stay resolute as the job is not yet done.

With the ongoing speculation about Canada pre-pre-talks Ambazonia News understands from sources that she could seek to clarify the IG’s position. She has consistently been of the view that Ambazonian Independence is unconditional and not up for negotiation.

She may also wish to highlight some of the outreaches the IG has carried out with the aim of empowering our civilians in both the refugee camps and the ground. One of the keys to Ambazonian future prosperity lies in the freedom of choice that education and self-sufficiency can engender. The resulting dignity and confidence will help Ambazonia to shed our choking victim mantle and strike out on a bright exciting future.

Federalists still wrong!

Ambazonian Flag

To talk about federalists is to validate them when they have no existence in logic! However, due to the “Canada Process” also known as “Pre-Pre-talks” there is once more an illusory platform for “federalist” proponents. The paradox of the federalists persists against all odds even though La Republique du Cameroun has deployed intimidation tactics in the form of “convocations” to quash all usage of the term – and that was mainly against the “federalists” themselves – not even against Ambazonians. No! Ambazonians had a worse fate reserved for them – summary extrajudicial executions, callously trumpeted as “neutralisation” in their propaganda. They have even been known to issue official communiques – for La Republique du Cameroun loves a communique – outlining how they “neutralised” several unarmed youths suspected of being separatists. Suspicion seems enough to seal a youth’s fate in Ambazonia! That was earlier.

These days, after our whole scale resistance and demonstrated resilience, they are resorting to all forms of time-wasting, with the forlorn hope that our resolve would wane. Our resolve is not waning! Our people have endured deliberate psychological attacks in the form of disinformation and manipulation. Some have hesitated for a while but they are all still basically convinced of the righteousness of our cause and the complete “does-not-go-ness” of any idea that “One Cameroun” might ever again include Ambazonia! Not even in a de facto union! Especially not in a de facto union! Not in any union! It is One Solution – Independence for Ambazonia!

One Ambazonian sage once predicted that when La Republique Cameroun woke up and tried to negotiate for federation with Ambazonia that it would be too late. It has been too late for 5 years! Having our streets blocked by militias so foreign that they could “mistakenly” fire live rounds into school traffic tells even the deafest non-listener and shows even the blindest non-looker that Ambazonia into La Republique du Cameroun does not go! That is why no intimidation can turn our citizens! We have to be thankful to La Republique du Cameroun for proving to our people over these last six years that La Republique du Cameroun behind their thugs is a hollow vacuum of nothingness and that their main power over Ambazonia was solely Ambazonians willingness to put up and continue to hope for “better” eventually. Eventually has been and gone and LRC has proved that only worse is to come if we the Ambazonians persist in that willingness to give one more chance! More than that, they have proved that Ambazonians can take their destiny and dignity in their own hands.

So why are there still people who dare show their faces and talk about federalism? It is down to Ambazonian liberalism! We like a debate like no other people! That comes from the days when our competing parties in the fifties and early sixties used to travel together to election rallies and debate and make their separate speeches and then go back together sometimes sharing a drink. Nevertheless, the federalists are mistaken…

They [federalists] are hanging in mid-air because La Republique Cameroon is not debating federalism and unlikely to be anytime soon. In this situation the federalist trying to offer “nothing” to a people who have been living through the “proof” that any association with La Republique is fatal and who have seen La Republique du Cameroun’s arguments against federalism! In Ambazonia News’ view this is the most pointless “argument” since the Athenians first described democracy!

La Republique du Cameroun is a paradox in burning villages, killing school children, “neutralising suspected separatists” and propagating “one Cameroun” given that their dictator decreed a secession of La Republique du Cameroun from the still-tenuous United Republic of Cameroon. Everyone knows that! They know it! They have it on record in their courts that that decree was Ambazonian Restoration. In 2017 La Republique briefly considered rowing back by trying to phase in the “United Republic of Cameroon” name. It is likely their mentors counselled against that and instead mistakenly promoted the idea that even their corrupt system was capable of defeating grand-mothers with peace plants! What ever the reasoning, they decided they could win! One possible reason is that they knew that even the “United Republic” was not a union – except by being a de facto union – and could not be sustained in any negotiation or court.

When a “nation” decides to resort to “war” or force, they are suspending “international law” righteousness even if they had any. So the federalists debating nice academic points about Ambazonia’s legal ground are wide off the mark! When La Republique du Cameroun is defeated and finally have to leave, no international partners are going to weigh up the spurious legal arguments that were so cleverly outlined by the fence-sitters! That also means that we the Ambazonians know that we have to win on the ground – and on that point we have to be thankful to the federalists legalists.

The nice international community knows it but persists in waiting with patience for La Republique du Cameroun to kill enough of us so that they can express outrage with “never-again” before resuming their cosy dealings with La Republique du Cameroun. That is just the way of things so Ambazonians need to beware and continue the fight. That goes without saying as La Republique continues forays into our country!

The time is coming when it will have to be decided. Being born Ambazonian does not compel anyone to be Ambazonian – nor to have our precious and rare citizenship foisted on them! People who consider themselves citizens of La Republique should not be waiting on the fence for our citizens to be killed so that they can negotiate a better La Republique status for themselves. We just eventually have to accept that such a dichotomy exists.

The opacity of the Canada Pre-Pre talks would appear to be conveying the feeling that “Ambazonians” alone are the ones wrestling with the shadow non-argument of federation. What is La Republique looking for apart from the usual playing for time? What is the international community’s stake in this? A stable democratic, accountable, successful and prosperous Ambazonia is a better security ally in the Gulf of Guinea. We insist on our dignity. In this setup Ambazonia is certainly not the supplicant! The conflict is so “one-solution” that it hardly bears the bother of speculating on what they are “negotiating”. While waiting we must all be aware that the one solution depends on our actualising our independence with no regard for what French Cameroun decide to do.

We the Ambazonians

The “Retreat”…

The CDN Retreat October 2021.
Well done to CDN for bringing together the widest ever gathering of Southern Cameroons leaders and actors.

Whatever our views, there is no denying that the war will end through dialogue and negotiation. There is no denying either that Southern Cameroons is making less headway than she could due to a relative lack of collaboration between her leaders and activists.
The slowness of pace is not necessarily a bad thing as those leaders hoping to run the country must gain experience of dealing with diverse opinions and even political opponents. In view of that need for tolerance and flexibility, CDN is to be commended for the “Retreat”.

Detractors of the CDN will be concerned that CDN is not “sufficiently distant” from LRC especially as its founding pillars include the vague notion of “return of peace through negotiation and reconciliation and reconstruction”.
This last phrase was sullied by LRC’s hoax of “reconstruction” and other cosmetic patches.
LRC may well look at the CDN and see a useful tool or arena to find “moderates” who would be willing to front up for those cosmetic changes but CDN aims are not at odds with an eventual separation and two states. In no way could LRC expect to take advantage of CDN, whose founders have never failed to call out the atrocities on “Ground Zero”. Neither, as far as it is evident, does CDN commit itself to deliver anything more than its services as a facilitatornl.

On the contrary, if LRC wishes to “take advantage” by engaging true dialogue and negotiations …

The ideal would be a negotiated separation but it must be accepted that that would be a reconciliation as well as lead to the reconstruction of both states. This is a convoluted statement that “coincidences” in LRC statements and slogans are just that – coincidences. It should not be discounted that LRC is constantly seeking to appropriate Southern Cameroons opinion to create those deceptive slogans.
On balance, the benefit of building trust among Southern Cameroons leaders outweighs the risk of LRC infiltrators. That time has past and it is clear that only a small minority of Southern Cameroonians, as is their right, still believe in a Federation with LRC. Ironically, those who would not consider a federation can rely on LRC to ensure it does not come to pass! Why would LRC go to war and interrogate people who use the word “federation” only to revert to negotiating for a federation? Even if that were to emerge, Southern Cameroons would still be in a better position with leaders who have mutual understanding and are single minded on the fundamentals – the ethos and civism of Southern Cameroons.
Thus the most encouraging report to emerge from the Retreat was the cordiality of discussions especially if opinions were divergent.
The absence of the IG from the Retreat is at this point not a big problem for either “side”. The confidence building will be slightly slower for that absence but the leaders need time to reflect and adapt to the statesmanship that they will be called on to exercise in due course. If anything we could hope that that lack of a rush to “return peace” shows a patience that we accept that the struggle need not conclude “in a hurry”. We are relaxed in the knowledge that it will take some time and will similarly patiently build consensus among our leaders on the fundamentals of our state. Onwards to the next retreat, in that case.

The leaders who attended the Retreat did not go to create a homogenous one-party to submit to LRC! Knowing a little about some the leaders I can safely state the idea of “submitting” anything to LRC would not have been entertained even by the most “moderate” romantic.

The Diaspora IG says…

🎤🎤🎤💙🤍💙🎤🎤🎤💙🤍💙
THE AMBAZONIAN PEOPLE’S COMMUNICATION TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY

THAT
The quest from the overwhelming majority of Ambazonians is for total independence and statehood restoration.

THAT
This overwhelming majority is structured under a worldwide community mobilization body with the People’s legitimate elected representatives of the 13 counties and the 61 LGAs of the Federal Republicof Ambazonia (FRA).

THAT
This overwhelming majority pays allegiance to the community based Interim Government of the FRA whose leadership is constitutionally delegated to Dr Samuel Ikome Sako.

THAT
Mr Ayuk Tabe , imprisoned or free, has NO MANDATE to speak for the Ambazonian people. He was impeached by the Restoration Council , the highest legislative institution of our revolutionary body.

THAT
Dr Samuel Ikome Sako endorsed self defence as a legitimate tool for our people to defend themselves from the genocidal war declared upon them by President Paul Biya of La Republic du Cameroun (LRC).

THAT
The Ambazonia Restoration Forces (ARFs) who are community freedom fighters align under all the 61 LGAs that are pillar extensions of the Interim Government headed by H. E. Dr Samuel Ikome Sako as President and CIC, constitute the largest if not the sole functional self-defence organ in the whole territory of Ambazonia.

THAT
No prisoner nor LRC selected interlocutors nor coalition without the mandate of Ambazonians will negotiate the terms of our independence, talk less of calling for ceasefire because we never declared war.

THAT
The Ambazonian plight for sovereignty is an international problem and requires mediation on an internationally mediated platform. The Swiss led mediation is the only internationally endorsed platform for mediation at this moment and the Ambazonia Coalition Team (ACT) represents the independentist’s platform with the overwhelming majority of the Ambazonian citizens worldwide.

THAT
We are cautioning the international institutions and international media houses not to fall prey to any deceitful or manipulative attempts from LRC to allocate and impose the people’s mandate on their cronies or enablers nor derail the jurisdiction of our plight to an internal problem because that will never bring a lasting “peace through justice” solution to the conflict.

THAT
No backdoor communication should be held between any Ambazonian citizens and the enemy- LRC. Defaulters will be VOMITED, publicly SHAMED and PROSECUTED when we get to Buea.

THAT
The UNSHAKABLE resolve of this generation of indigenes from Southern Cameroons aka Ambazonia, is nothing short from statehood restoration and that we will employ all resources at their disposal through the ongoing Ambazonia War Draft (AWARD), to fully resist any imposed manipulation from LRC or LRC enabling cronies of federalist or unionist or international conspiring institutions or countries.

THAT
The international institutions (UN, AU, EU…), the international media houses (CNN, BBC, VOA, Al Jazeera, RFI….), international humanitarian and human rights organizations (Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, UNICEF, WFP, WHO, International Federation of the Red Cross, …), LRC and its allies or cronies or enablers, are ALL advised or cautioned to consider reliable and representative is the aspirations of the Ambazonian People; or contact or relate with the following mandated institutions representing the will, aspiration and desire of the Ambazonian people, hence institutions that have the mandate of the overwhelming majority of the Ambazonian People, for reliable information on positions or policies related to the Ambazonian quest for Independence and statehood restoration:
-The Ambazonia IG’s spokesman Sec. Chris Anu
-The Ambazonian Secretary Of State (SOS) for Defence Bishop John Egyawan
-The Ambazonia National Security Council (ANSC) spokesman Comrade Langmi Nestor
-The Ambazonia Restoration Forces (ARF) spokespersons Gabonaise and Masterplanner

THAT
The facts and positions expressed in this document are endorsed by a Constituent General Assembly in the presence of the representatives of all tiers of the Interim Government of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia and will be reiterated to the international community by US, by the grassroot leadership of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia and by our Pro-IG Activists.

Independence is ours. We must, we are and we will continue to be resilient until we achieve our goal.

Penn Terrence says…

♦️♦️Prisoners do not negotiate, Sisiku AyukTabe says♦️♦️

By Penn Terence One Of Those Who attended the talks.Read on

The words being widely spewed on the social space are “Negotiations” and “Dialogue”. This is done with the intent of poisoning the social space and the minds of every Ambazonian with the fact that “Prisoners do not negotiate for Free men”

I can assure this noble house that neither of that is taking place between President Sisiku AyukTabe and the Government of La Republique du Cameroun. Our president has made it abundantly clear that Prisoners do not not negotiate because they will do that from a point of weakness. Again, he has made it clear that no one person alone can negotiate over Ambazonia. It will take a cream of our finest experts cut across the board or chosen by every leader in the quest for the complete independence of Ambazonia to negotiate for Ambazonia when the time comes and that time isn’t now. What is happening now should have happened long ago when they were brought in from Nigeria.

However the case, the Government of Cameroun has only initiated pretalks on the way forward. President Sisiku AyukTabe had put certain conditions to be met by Paul Biya and his country before any negotiation (be it the Swiss Talks, the American or the UN led mediation etc) can begin. These conditions can be presented by just anyone who has the people he is fighting for at heart and not the president himself.

Before any negotiation can begin, the president has asked for four things to be done by Cameroun as a show of good faith;

1- The demilitarization of Southern Cameroons and the immediate call for a cease fire ( After all, it was Paul Biya who declared war on our people and he will be the one to call a cease fire to that war)

2- The release of everyone locked up because of the Ambazonian war of independence. Everyone must be accounted for.

3- The granting of a general amnesty to every Ambazonian around the world to come home and consult with love ones and leadership on the possible way forward without any fear of police harrassment

4-After the first three conditions MUST have been met as a show of good faith, then will both parties set the time line and place for negotiations to be done in the presence of a third party and on a neutral space.

The Government of La Republique du Cameroun only met with him and his team to address these conditions set by Sisiku AyukTabe (on behalf of all Ambazonians) who is aware that it is his duty NEVER to fail the people who look up to him. Positive strides are being made and he will update all Ambazonians when the time comes. For now, it is imperative for us all to give him the blessings that he needs. To whom much is given so much more is expected and President Sisiku AyukTabe is aware of that.

@SenatorPenn
–‐————–‐
My response to the above!

If that is the stance of Julius AyukTabe, I would say he is perfectly correct: Prisoners do not negotiate.

1) This debunks some of his supporters who argue that Ayuktabe and his team in prison have the right to negotiate.

2) the conditions given by Sisiku for any potential negotiation are perfectly reasonable. I have been against all-inclusive dialogue/negotiation and negotiations without pre-conditions. That is why I have always challenged the Swiss-led talks and Tibor Nagy who kept insisting that there should be an all-inclusive dialogue without any pre-conditions. Where in the world have you seen negotiations at such levels in such cases without pre-conditions? So, Julius is right in his argument.

If you say what happened in Geneva was not negotiation but pee-talks, then I have this to say. l agree that it was not the negotiation. And if you call it pre-talks, that is not the way pre-talks are conducted.

3) The PREPARATION of pre-talks or pre-negotiations are conducted internally and not externally.

4) The leadership has to identify two groups of people. One for pre-negotiation and another group that constitutes our actual negotiators.

5) Only the selected pre-negotiators would be going for all pre-talks meetings. You don’t have to take the entire leadership movements to Geneva, Paris, Yaounde, Washington DC or New York for senseless meetings known as “pre-talks” or ‘capacity building’.

5) Our negotiators only step in after the terms agreed by our pre-negotiators and at the actual negotiation.

The leaderships of our struggle have my proposal which is in more details.

I am not a fan of any of the leaders. I am a fan of the struggle.

TAKING THINGS FOR GRANTED

May we emphasize just again that Southern Cameroonians, like every other people, comprise those on the territory and those abroad. Even as those bearing the brunt of the present hostilities are essentially those on the territory, the FOREIGN component has been laying claim to some exclusive rights with an absolutely HOLLOW foundation!

It is important for the foreign legions to understand that the PEOPLE of Southern Cameroons have not given them any MANDATE just as they have not given any mandate to anyone on the territory. It seems safe, then, to hold that neither component should seek to lord it over the other! Nor should any segment either way seek the exclusion of some others without any legal right, much less, legitimacy

It would be recalled that the Swiss Adventure last year, 2019, had not even begun when some Southern Cameroonians abroad started holding themselves out as the exclusive representatives of Southern Cameroonians. They, of course, failed woefully to ground their HOLLOW claim. It is hoped that they themselves did realize that the CONSORTIUM of teachers and lawyers was based on the territory just like the ordinary men, the women, the youth and even infants who marched with PEACE branches in 2017.

It cannot be otherwise even today as those persons on the territory have lost their lives and livelihood even as those abroad are enjoying their lives to the fullest in foreign sanctuaries. Those on the territory continue to face death and loss of shelter even today. Those who fled are languishing in refugee camps; in the forests/bushes; and in precarious abodes east of the Mungo. Thousands of their children have lost their rights to education for four years running in contrast with the children of those abroad.

WHY WOULD THOSE SUFFERING LESS THINK THEY ARE MORE ENTITLED?

MY DEAR LEADERS,
MY DEAR COMPATRIOTS,

A SOLEMN PATRIOTIC CALL FOR A WIN-WIN FOR AMBAZONIA

This Solemn Patriotic Call coming to you today has been on my heart for quite some time. Not postponed! But the more l have tried to push it off, the more my patriotic conscience haunts me like a good dog aggressively goes after a game in the interest of the master.

My Message to the Berlin Conference organised by the IG in April 2019 gave a clarion call for regular Consultation between the leadership in detention and leadership outside to serve the national interest. It called for selfless leadership that gathers and unifies the citizens for national sovereign redemption. It went further to warn us all that any contradiction or conflict between the two will create chaos, be costly and like was with the Israelites, delay our legitimate and legal Sovereign Restoration drive.
Not ready to give up, since June 2019 when we found ourselves saddled with two IGs l have ceaselessly, in national interest, come to you appealing for Unity of Purpose, Collaboration, and work in synergy to fast track our liberation and Restoration of our National Sovereign Statehood.

As Restorationists we have one common enemy, the foreign aggressor, la Republique du Cameroun who should never be taken for granted. Why? La Republique du Cameroun bad faith beginning with Ahidjou is legendary. Mr Biya has only taken it to greater heights.
As a people defending our inherent identity and politico- legal rights with a common agenda, we may differ in methods of approach, but putting the national interest against self and or group interest, differences in methods of approach should not divide us, let alone turn us into enemies.

To lead is an opportunity to serve the common good. It is not a birth right. And Southern Cameroons( Ambazonia) is a leading democracy in West Africa. And as a democracy emphasis is on servant leadership not on boss leadership. And as a servant leader it is the interest of the people who are supreme that counts and not that of the leader. As visionary as the leader may be, to carry the people with him and execute projects in common interest, there is what l call the 3Ls of political leadership, thus he must Listen to the people, Learn from the people in order to Lead them to be masters of their destiny. In a liberation struggle, the nationalistic clarion call is all hands on the plough. The leader is the unifier, filling and blocking any cracks which can give advantage to the enemy, spies and agents to exploit. My people, the Wimbum say the Fon has a thousand eyes. The thousand eyes are the people who are his eyes and ears. At this stage what is non negotiable and expected from any person claiming to be a leader, at whatever level is inclusion of opinions and actions and not exclusion claiming some divine rights. No! Not this Restorationist struggle brought to this level by the SCNC, SCAPO and AmbRep. The SCNC Mission Statement as enshrined in its Constitution, makes galvanisation of all Southern Cameroonians, irrespective of tribe, gender, social status mandatory. And all legal victories at home and abroad have been in the name and on behalf of the Southern Cameroonians. But today l hear some people talk of Southern Cameroons and the people as if some personal property in their wallets. No! Never shall that be.

As Restorationists, there should be no holy cows among us. There should be no holier thou spirit. Every interest should be protected and every positive act and faithful contribution that can take the struggle forward, even if just by one step and action that inspires, encourages and spurs the people to do one positive thing should be applauded. The right question should be, what has he said or done? And never who has said or done that? Go for the positive message and as a patriot analyse and see what good could be made of. Don’t go for the person or messenger.

As Restorationists facing the vicious enemy, the foreign aggressor who has diabolically imposed neo-apartheid rule on us, there is no room for high ground standing. There is no white horse for some few to ride at the detriment of the many, who brow beaten should swallow your dictates without questioning. No! We should all as servant leaders in humble spirit under the leadership of the Most High by whose infinite wisdom, this land was ordained our eternal heritage, serve the nation for our collective good.

Kindly listen to and meditate on this anecdote.
In the beginning of time man in his effort to understand God’s declaration that His wisdom is in all creation, studied the ants and was amazed at how they collaborate and organize labour especially in the building of their complex chambers, namely, the Anthill. He then decided to test the goats.
He starved two that were pregnant for some time. Convinced that they were sufficiently hungry, he got the two tied on ends of one rope, one facing the south and other the north. Further to the north and south he placed grass, salt and water. For each to reach its own bowl of delicious food, it required more than the normal energy to pull the other. Each pulled and pulled without success. They got tired and exhausted.
After resting a while the goat facing the north, screamed,
“Wait a minute! I have a bright idea!”
“What is the idea?” Asked the one facing the south.
“Let us collaborate and save our energy. We are pregnant and badly need food. This man is a devil. He wants us to drag ourselves to death without even eating food. Our death with our babies will mean the extinction of the goat kingdom. Let us prove to him that we are wiser than he thinks.”
“I agree with you. How do we do it? I am ready.”
” No more dragging. Let us move together to my own bowl, finish eating and move to your own in the south and eat together. That’s what l mean by collaboration. This is to prove to this wicked man that we are not fools and he cannot trick us to drag ourselves to death.”
The two then moved happily to the bowl to the north and south and ate to their satisfaction.

Two things have happened recently in the struggle which if dead to greed and grand standing and well handled we will certainly fast track the legitimate and legal quest for the Restoration. These are the War Draft, and the approach for possible negotiations to end the genocidal war annexationist la Republique du Cameroun declared on Ambazonia on Nov. 30, 2017. The war was declared on Ambazonia and not on an individual or group. The purpose is to declare Southern Cameroons(Ambazonia), which they have failed to francophonise or assimilate in 58 years a conquered territory of la Republique du Cameroun and consolidate the ” one and indivisible Cameroun Republique.” Thanks to the Restoration Forces that have rubbished the Biya evil agenda and made Ambazonia a hard knot to crack. In exceptional patriotism, like Spartans of the Greek Empire, they are the true heroes and heroins of the Restoration struggle. They deserve our maximum collective support and not politicking and meaningless claims of control of this or that.
Nota Bene: the real political thermometer that will bring down the international forces that matter to mount meaningful pressure on Yaounde for the genuine Talks, is the proven invincibility of the RFs and not the diaspora loose talk and empty propaganda, claims and counter claims which paint us negatively.

There is one Ambazonia and one people groaning and being decapitated by neo- apartheid rule. We started well when liberation movements formed SCACUF and developed into an Interim Government (IG) with a defined mission of fast tracking the Restoration drive and taking over Buea, our national capital. As the devil tempted Adam and Eve and they lost their source of spiritual relationship with the Creator, the IG fell from glory and the people are saddled with two rival IGs. These two rival IGs instead of inspiring and building confidence are sapping energy away and opening cracks for the enemy to infiltrate and cause more harm.
Consequently any project instead of being objectively examined on its merit or demerits or what good it can offer and help flush out the enemy sooner than later, it is seen from the perspective of who is behind it or who has launched it. In this spirit each IG sees itself as the legitimate spokesman and or representative of the people. It is now Mr Clean and Mr dirty. There is politicking and the struggle is badly politicized at the detriment of the common man being slaughtered on daily bases like diseased cows, the refugees, the IDPs, and our RFs who are doing a fantastic job with very little, to call.
How does fund raising to improve and equip the RF, assist the refugees and IDPs become an evil simply because of the faces behind it? How does getting involved in exploring prospects for the necessary dialogue, negotiations, or talks to end the genocidal war become an act of sell out simply because of the persons involved? Why should we descend so low into the abyss of treachery where it is either “I or nothing?” “My way or the high way”? Whose interest are we the leaders serving?

I have meditatively read Sisiku AyukTabe’s short message on their contact with la Republique du Cameroun authorities. This was a diplomatic issue. I have equally meditatively examined Dr Sako Samuel’s reaction to Sisiku’s very brief report. Additionally l have listened and reflected on Chris Anu’s audio which castigates the contact. In Chris Anu’s outing he raises a fundamental question which should not be ignored or under looked. He asks, and he has a right to, why Mr Tassang Wilfred and Pa Nfor N. Nfor were not included on the team that met la Republique du Cameroun team? If these two were included would the contact have then been legitimate and acceptable?
However the purpose of bringing this point is to correct an impression. Mr Tassang was one of the four from the Nera 10 to go. But like the first time he declined to go. This he told me himself. And l will be very surprised if Mr Chris Anu or Dr. Sako are unaware of this fact.
Secondly, it was not a meeting for all the Nera 10, but a delegation of four. A delegation cannot be made up of all in the group.
Thirdly from the brief report, it is absolutely wrong and misleading to say that the delegation went for talks or negotiations with la Republique du Cameroun. Negotiations or talks take place in an environment or venue where all the contending parties are present and presided over by a neutral personality with an endorsed mandate to implement the resolutions agreed upon. The venue and the umpire must be agreed by the contending parties. There most also be observers with a mandate to ensure that the talks succeed. And Talks or Negotiations are declared to be successful if and only if the adopted resolutions are respected by the contending parties and implemented.
While not being a judge but a humble patriot of the struggle that l have been, permit me, in national interest state that what has started;
was not negotiations or talks. It is an exploration or consultation between the two contending parties for eventual meeting before a mediator who shall umpire the talks.
Let it be taken as a point of fact that such discrete and sometimes low key exploratory contacts are normal. There were many such contacts with great Nelson Mandela while in prison in South Africa.
That we may not paint ourselves to the international community which we urgently need, as amateurs, let it be known that diplomatic matters are not for propaganda. There are always top secrets. Even the Holy Book states this fact. We must learn and learn fast.
On the other hand are our people wrong to raise eye brows and ask questions? Absolutely not. It is their inherent right to and even to be suspicious. Why?
Bad faith is la Republique du Cameroun’s trade mark. Remember the Banjul Ruling which called for Constructive Dialogue under the Good Offices of the African Commission within 180 days. This was approved in 2009 by the AU Summit, the highest organ of the Continental Body. Mr Biya may just be testing the waters and the negativism amplifying the division and divisionism within our ranks is dangerous signals for our public image.

National sovereignty is not a personal or group interest matter. Matter of destiny belongs to the people. Whoever is speaking for the people should defend their sovereign will. When he is questioned he should in humility give the people the correct answer and listen to their point of view.

The social media should be used to project us as a united people with a mission to take our rightful place within the confluence of free humanity. No divisiveness. No blackmail and backstabbing. No more surrogacy to please an individual or group against the other. No more negativism. All united in legitimate and legal defense of ONE Nation, ONE People, ONE Destiny!

Now balancing the War Draft issue and the diplomatic contact as positive acts in national interest which should not only be applauded but above all handled with maximum care as the way forward to sovereign national Restoration. Why?
1) It is a fact of human history that every international conflict, whether it results into a war of foreign aggression or not, ends up on a negotiation table. As far as the Southern Cameroons(Ambazonia) political conflict with la Republique du Cameroun is concerned, it can only be resolved permanently by UN intervention as happened in Namibia, Eritrea, East Timor, among others. The document submitted to the UNGS last year on behalf of the people, speaks for it self. Any person on diplomatic offensive should dutifully hold that. Just as the War Draft money does not belong to the person God blessed with the idea, this document belongs to the people. All of us have heard of the American Dream which binds all US citizens and leaders. In a nation like in a national struggle, policies, strategies, symbols are referred to with reverence as OUR, not mine or his.
As stated in the submission to the UNSG the Southern Cameroons(Ambazonia) shall be represented by one delegation made up of experts in different fields not just few people. And to pick the right people shall not be left to an individual, worse of all someone behind bars or in the diaspora. With UN intervention there shall be a UN Peace Keeping Force which creating a conducive environment, we shall be free to meet in our Homeland and deliberate as a free people and choose the delegates to the Talks with la Republique du Cameroun umpired by the UN.

Moving Forward From Here.
As a patriotic Restorationists what should be your attitude from here on?
We have all made our mistakes. For a cleansing we should all admit we have individually and collectively sinned against our Fatherland. Having seen where we have gone wrong, we must change and declare “Never Again Will l Be involved or promote acts and statements that Forster Division and Divisionism. This declaration is between you and your God, the Creator who gave us this land our eternal heritage on planet earth.

We must be determined to bury the ugly past and with zeal, faith and determination under the watchful Lord move forward to victory. As a check list before you say a thing, write or do anything, ask yourself;

  1. How does what l want to speak, or do advance and fast track the struggle for the Restoration of the sovereign Statehood of Southern Cameroons(Ambazonia)?
  2. How does what l want say or do convince others and doubting Thomases that l am acting selflessly and that l put the supreme interest of Ambazonia above mine?
  3. How does what l want to say or do, assure my audience that in a national liberation struggle there is no fence for fence sitters, you are either with the people against the enemy or with the enemy against the people? And be mindful of the fact that traitors have their reward both here and the here after.
  4. How does what l want to say, write or do assure my audience that we are not citizens of la Republique du Cameroun and that the drive for national sovereignty is legitimate and anchored on international law thus achievable!
  5. How does what l want to say, write or do inspire people, serve as confidence building and unite the people for a house divided from within can’t over power an invader?
  6. How does what l say, write or do give the international community, which we urgently need, a positive image and win friends for the Restoration drive?
    Thank you.
