Ambazonian Collaboration Team, ACT has just concluded its latest fireside chat. One of the highlights was a submission from a prisoner of conscience.
The transcript follows:
ACT FIRESIDE CHAT 2023.
I will deliver my presentation in bullet points:
It has been a painstaking diplomatic walk and despite efforts to truncate it, ACT has remained consistent with its underpinning goal of driving the people of Ambazonia through mediation and negotiations. The work of ACT can be seen and felt by the blind and lame if only they are objective and true to cause. Cameroun has been through two pretalks with the people of Southern Cameroons and lost on both processes, mediated by the Swiss and Canada respectively. Team Ambazonia has been and is the custodian of mediation and the beacon of hope in terms of negotiations. Permit me use bullet points to share some thoughts on the state of our Liberation struggle vis a vis its ultimate end (mediation and negotiations).
1. Cameroun is facing defeat by Ambazonia and Africa
– For over 60 years and for the past 7 years particularly, La République du Cameroun is unable to deter the resolve of the people of Southern Cameroons, despite its subterfuge, lies, killings, maiming, manipulation, corruption, divide and rule tactics, incarceration, torture, massacre, displacement, dehumanization and abuse of the owners of the territory.
– Failed in two international processes ( Swiss and Canada).
– Failed in all its cosmetics solutions in the contraptions of commissions (bilingualism, DDR, reconstruction, house of chiefs and national dialogue etc).
– Southern Cameroons is still warming to get started where LRC stops. Them di joke. Where them.deh?
– The African revolution led by West Africa will catch up with them sooner than later. France will collapse with its puppets like Biya and Atanga Nji.
2. Collaboration still dire:.
Speaking with one voice remains imperative especially at this critical moment where African politics meets revolutionary realities. At this time when the Canadian process is plugging out. At this time when traitors received huge bounties to kill and sell their their own, at this time when there is fatigue among Ambalanders. Most significantly, at this time when La République du Cameroun approaches its inevitable political transition.
In my view, the one thing to fix is the IG. To fix this complex mechanism within our struggle; generosity, humility, candour and rationality are required for the stakeholders. Comrades Anu, Marianta and Sako must be willing while ultimately, Sesekou Ayuk must man responsibility and act immediately and accordingly. He must and should call the solution in. The IG needs a restart button and this can be pushed comprehensively by the author of the predicament, Sesekou. [I have a motion to propose to this effect if allowed to].
– The IG and Sesekou. Fix this and then collaboration will be easily achievable with other frontline movements. I dont see any other viable avenue out of this quagmire.
– ADF, APLC, SoCADEF and ARF: there is already some meaningful understanding and joint work among these forces. Mending their political entities would perfect collaboration among them… LRC will have no place to hide. They know this, this is why they invest a lot to divide us. This is why they plant agents among us. That is the scheme of their master, France.
3. Ripeness for mediation:
– stalemate; a mutual hurting stalemate is the yardstick by international standards. We have shown beyond the shadows of doubt that La République du Cameroun will need the Roman and Byzantine empires to defeat us militarily. However, as shown on the last Amnesty International report, we are basically in an armed violence predicament and not really war. War can’t co-exist with night clubs, foot ball games, wedding parties, diplomatic meetings and luxurious constructions. Hence, I opine that we must agree to decide on what truly we can meaningfully do. Lrc is ready to recruit, train and deploy 5000 mad frogs to Southern Cameroons every 6 months. We don’t have the luxury of losing our volunteer self-defense men, women, boys and girls. It is good to remind us that, we don’t have an army, what we have are volunteer freedom fighters giving their lives to free us in truth and justice.
I contend therefore that, we must invest our resources and energy in doing the needful. You can’t be at war with an enemy as brutal and heartless as La République du Cameroun then allow all supply routes into your territory open. To stop invasion and incursions on your territory, cut supply routes. I say, we indefinitely close our borders with LRC. In deed, stop transportation and commerce. This can’t be achieved by romancing and engaging love sentiments (our people will suffer), as though they were in paradise for the past 60 years. If we close those borders (Tiko stretch, mile 14-16, Matazim, and Sabongari) thus allowing exports and imports only with West Africa, LRC will suffocate. Blacklegs and traitors won’t have a place to hide. More so, food items will become very affordable for our people as farm produce will benefit them most. It is my believe that LRC will run to negotiate within the first 2 months of the implementation of this closure. If carefully planned, this is easy to enforce and effective in collapsing LRC authoritarian regime and colonial administration over the people of Ambazonia.
4. Humanitarian challenges:
– the situation in the jails is precarious. Not only do most of us lack the means to hire legal representation at colonial courts, POC barely eat, are into drugs, see no future, suffer from mal nutrition, diseases like cholera, typhoid, cough, malaria, skin infections, wounds, eye infection etc etc. It is my plea that our diaspora rethinks their negligence towards these men, women, boys and girls dying for them in these dungeons. Below are the numbers in jails:-
Approximation.
- Kondengui Principal Prison = 50+
- Kondengui central prison =287
- Douala new bell prison = 87
- Buea prison = 800+
- Bamenda prison = 850+
- Bafousam prison = 100+
- Mbalmayo = 1
- Edea = unknown
- Sed = 2
Our people are unaccounted for and are dying in cells and other detention centers like the genocide camp at Bafut airport, gendarmes, police, military and BIR camps all over Southern Cameroons and LRC not leaving out Nigeria.
Please my people, have pity on your conscience and help our people in incarceration.
– IDPs: our displaced persons still suffer on the streets of La République du Cameroun.
– Refugees: we hear most of them are now communicating with lrc as they get frustrated like the POC? This may be wrong, please correct me!
5. Recommendations:
- Fix the IG and collaborate with other front lines: onus on Sesekou Ayuk
- Assist the POC, IDPs and Refugees
- Produce a real stalemate: close our borders and deal with traitors and enablers.
Conclusion
A hurting Stalmate is the ripeness measure for mediation and real negotiations. Lrc won’t budge to anything but real economic sabotage. Transportation and commerce are the heart of invasion and imperialism. If you want to hurt and ridicule an oppressor, target those. Our people must make a choice among their bad options: a) remain in bondage or, b) close their borders indefinitely with everything they got. We can’t eat our cake and have it. We can’t be up against France and romance with emotion. This is a 60-year-old regime that has assimilated some of our people and employed them against us at this critical time. We must do the needful or remain in captivity. If we don’t collaborate and close those borders; our diaspora will remain in exile, most of us will die in these dungeons, our people who’s blood keeps running the streets of Ambaland would have died for nothing, the sacrifices we the incarcerated are making would have been for nothing. Not that Ambaland won’t be free because no matter what, it shall be, but I am afraid that our children will have to be the generation that will free the land, not ours. May God remove our difficulties and make our tasks easy
CLOSE THOSE BORDERS: STOP TRANSPORTATION AND COMMERCE.
The owners of the land know themselves.
Blessed 1st October, The Day Of Southern Cameroons Independence.
God bless you.
